BBC World Service asks: "Do gay people still need separate events?"

BBC Radio Host Madeleine Morris

It seems the education of the media is still very important. In the BBC World Service show "World Have Your Say", several people were interviewed about the need for LGBT sports competitions. The host was very friendly, but she clearly did not have any background on the Gay Games Movement.

Fortunately, Lou Hart, Roger Brigham, Kelly Stevens, Dan Woog, and Pat Griffin were part of the show and able to demonstrate the continuing need for LGBT sports, and for major events such as the Gay Games.

The audio presentation is just under 34 minutes including a break for BBC News.
