We welcome you and your family to attend the International Rainbow Memorial Run on Saturday 31 July 2010 at the Rheinpark in Cologne. Everyone can be part of it. You may come and run or walk, or just come to remember your loved-ones, and watch the unfolding of the Memorial Quilt. The original “Rainbow Runner” himself, Brent Nicholson Earl will give the opening remarks before the opening of the Memorial Quilt and reading of the names to be remembered at this event.
Australian Olympic Gold Medalist Matthew Mitcham will speak briefly after the reading of the names and then Matt will lower the Rainbow Flag to start this run/walk. We encourage everyone to come 15 minutes early. The event will start punctually, so the memorial is respectful. Please come early if you have a name you wish read to the audience.
