2012 Olympics seeking LGBT candidates for ceremonies job opportunities

Our contacts at the London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games have asked us to pass on this message, with the goal of ensuring diversity in an important component of the 2012 Olympics. Note that the following message is in addition to the previous message about volunteers for Olympic ceremonies. The present announcement concerns job offers with the private company established to produce the ceremonies.

London 2012 In order to achieve its vision of delivering four extraordinary Ceremonies, London 2012 Ceremonies Ltd is looking to recruit a brilliant, committed and diverse team of people to fulfil a wide range of roles.

London 2012 Ceremonies Ltd (L2012C), in direct collaboration with the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games Ltd (LOCOG), has been established for the sole purpose of producing the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

How to apply

Email your CV and covering letter to recruitment@london2012ceremonies.com, ensuring that the job title and reference number for the vacancy you are applying for is clearly displayed in the subject header.

In your covering letter, please provide an overview of why you are interested in the vacancy and why you think you are suitable for the role. Please also state your current salary and benefits, current contractual notice period, and the names and contact details of two people who may be approached to provide references for you (one of which should ideally be a previous employer). For non-UK applications please also indicate your eligibility to work in the UK.
