From MTV:
Keeping a secret from the people that are closest to you can be exhausting, especially if it's information that could help them understand you better. MTV's newest documentary special, "Coming Out" (airs Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 7/6c), explores this stressful situation by trailing two twentysomethings, Rachael and Nevin, as they embark upon the very personal journey of revealing that they're gay.
Check out a sneak peek below, where Nevin, a collegiate all-star athlete in Ohio, musters up the courage to openly discuss his sexual orientation with his rugby teammates. They're incredibly receptive and respectful of his willingness to share, which is heartwarming because revealing the truth was definitely not easy.
Some have noted that it is easier to come out with the cover of a camera crew, or that it was unfair to spring this news on his teammates as they were filmed... What do you think?
