Gay Games a great place for your first competition

Gay Games media partner Sydney Star Observer on preparations of Harbour City wrestling club for Gay Games VIII, in particular for wrestlers for whom this will be the first competition:

“The club is fielding a squad to wrestle at the Cologne Gay Games this year, so a tournament was a way to show new wrestlers what to expect in a competition while helping the squad put into practice their knowledge of recent training,” Webb said.

“Cologne will hold a novice event for beginners, although the advice is to enter the open events as well as wrestling is a sport where winning fundamentals can be learned in a couple of months.”
