The women's fast pitch tournament is happening right next door to the open (mostly men's) softball tournament at the facility of the Cologne Cardinal (Cologne's baseball team). Women's slow pitch softball will take place later in the week.We've had a lot of time between our games so we've watched some of the fast pitch softball and the teams are quite good. I learned today that the woman pitching for the Cologne team also pitches for the German national team. They said she has a 90MPH fast pitch, but I think that's an exaggeration LOL. Still, she's very, very good.
