FGG volunteer named national judge

The FGG is pleased to congratulate Pierre Deransart, former Gay Games medal winner in Bodybuilding, president of FGG partner Le Coq Musclé, and judge in FGG member organization The Bodybuilding Guild, for his recent qualification as a national-level judge in the Fédération Française d'Haltérophilie, Musculation, Force Athlétique et Culturisme (FFHMFAC or French national weightlifting, powerlifting, and bodybuilding federation).

Pierre won the bronze medal in his age group in Amsterdam, and holds the title of vice-champion of France 2003 in his age group in the FFHMFAC, a drug-free federation which is the only bodybuilding organization recognized by the French ministry of sport. In addition to serving as president of Le Coq Musclé, the French LGBT bodybuilding association, he runs the weight training club at the INRIA, the French national research institute for computer science, where he is employed as a researcher.

He has served for several years as a regional judge for the FFHMFAC in Ile-de-France, where he is in charge of IT and of the evaluation of judges.

He continues to serve as an FGG volunteer on Sports Committee, and in particular on its Anti-Doping Policy subcommittee.
