Live from Cologne: International Rainbow Memorial Run at Rheinpark

Live from Cologne reported by Stephen Kovacev, Provincetown

Greetings from Gay Games VIII Cologne. My day started with the "International Rainbow Run" at Rheinpark in honor of those who died of AIDS and breast cancer. Here is where I reconnect with my Gay Games family. Kisses, hugs and smiles abound seeing each other again in this emotionally charged ceremony as tears flow and names of those who passed on are read.

Here I am with Sarah Waddell-Lewenstein at the begining of the Internional Rainbow Memorial Run. Sarah is the widow of Tom Waddell founder of the Gay Games.

This is a picture of me carring a flag in the run-walk.
