Equipe France party at Wolkenburg

Isabelle and Bruno, treasurer and president of the FSGL in the courtyard of the Wolkenburg

The Wolkenburg events center, host of the 2O09 FGG Annual General Assembly and any number of parties during Gay Games VIII, hosted the 500+ athletes and artists of Equipe France 2010 (and quite a few of their friends) last night.

Christelle Foucault, and FSGL president Bruno Aussenac
During the party, Christelle Foucault, chair of the team organizing committee, thanked the French team for their fair play and enthusiasm on the playing fields, and reported on the Tribute to Bidders held by the FGG earlier in the week, where she accepted an FGG medal of honor on behalf of the 2010 Paris Gay Games bid team. This led to her expression of hope to see a new bid from Paris, possibly even for 2018.

The party, which filled the beautiful courtyard and most of the ground floor of Wolkenburg, was DJed by Lucky, and attracted more than a few of the basketball players who were having their own party in an adjacent event room.
