Misc news from France

  • The working group announced on IDAHO day last May met for the first time last week at the ministry of sport. Among the participants, the FSGL. We look forward to providing a report on this meeting as soon as possible. 
  • SportsFriendly, a free quarterly magazine devoted to LGBT sport, will be launched this month, with Matthew Mitcham as the first coverboy. The publication is produced in partnership with the FSGL. The first issue will focus on Gay Games VIII.
  • FSGL member Les Gais Musette is pleased to announce that they will be organizing the first LGBT DanceSport competition in France as part of the 2011 TIP multisport tournament.
