The melting pot of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio

Cleveland and Northeast Ohio are very diverse places. In particular, Cleveland is home to some of the largest communities of Americans of Eastern European origin. For example, Cleveland is the second-largest Slovenian city in the world, after Ljubljana!

The host committee for Gay Games IX expects that the 2014 event will be a great opportunity for local groups to welcome athletes and artists from their homes, and show their cousins a warm welcome to the heartland of America.
