Darl Schaaff, an FGG site inspector in 2009, was present at the 11 September fundraiser in Cleveland.
Here he explains why the FGG chose Cleveland+Akron to host Gay Games 9, and what the Gay Games can mean for Northeast Ohio in 2014 and beyond. (One correction: the legal action against the "Gay Olympic Games" was carried out by the United States Olympic Committee, not the International Olympic Committee.)
Thanks to Vision Video for this contribution!
