Team Colorado with many local sporting organizations and the Denver LGBT Center are sponsoring the 2nd annual SportsFest, a celebration of friendship, solidarity and fair play in the LGBT community that will kick off the CENTER’s PrideFest celebrations in June 2011.
When: June 11-12, 2011
Where: Congress Park in Denver (we got a new more central location this year..Yea)
Team Colorado is a 100-percent volunteer organization whose mission is to improve the lives of LGBT community members by increasing LGBT athletic endeavors and competition.
Scheduled events:
Colorado Gay Volleyball Association (CGVA) annual tournament, VolleyBall Connection play on Sunday, Swimming events sponsored by SQUID, Flag Football competition, and a FUN RUN.
Potential events include tennis exhibition or round robin play since we have tennis courts right on the grounds, a rugby competition, softball tournament, cycling, car show and more.
2011 Tentative Schedule:
Saturday, June 11th : 8 a.m.–6 p.m. Sportsfest hours

Sunday, June 12th : 8 a.m.–6 p.m. Sportsfest hours
