GLAAD Media Awards nominations include LGBT sport

The GLAAD Media Awards nominations have been announced, and several nominees are of particular interest to readers of this blog, including in the category "Outstanding Documentary" Out. The Glenn Burke Story from Comcast SportsNet Bay Area.

Also honored were multiple news stories on Don't Ask, Don't Tell featuring friend of the Gay Games, photographer Jeff Sheng.

But our particular congratulations go to a nominee for "Outstanding Digital Journalism Article", Outsports's Jim Buzinski for his article "Wrestler Hudson Taylor a Champion for Gay Rights". We wish Jim the best of luck for this award.
