First person testimony: I used the Gay Games VIII iPhone app... and it's great!

I had never used an iPhone before (yes, that's pathetic), but yesterday a friend from Cologne was here and he showed me the Gay Games VIII iPhone app on his phone.

I didn't have much time to play, but I could easily see how useful it was, and now I want an iPhone to be able to download the app myself!

The bit that I used was the built-in access to the KVB route planner (KVB is the Cologne public transit authority, access to which you'll get with your Gay Games VIII accreditation). Alas it's in German, but it's easy to figure out.

The rest of the app is in English though, and includes sports news, program info, and will feature a live news feed and sports results.
