The World Day for Physical Activity will be celebrated on 6 April, 2011 with the theme of Together for an Active and Happy Life!
Events will be held around the world from 2-10 April to mark the occasion.
Individuals, groups, organisations and businesses are invited to take part by organising a Walking Parade or participating in a Virtual Walk by spreading messages via electronic media on the importance of walking on 6 April.
